The Yucatan in Mexico offers extraordinary scenic beauty, luxury resorts, exquisite dining choices, amazing coral barrier reef system in addition to its rich history and culture. It is no wonder that so many of our clients travel to this popular destination.
We took a trip back to Cancun and the Riviera Maya ourselves to scout out many of the top resorts and meet with management from each property. We like to offer you as much "firsthand" knowledge as possible, and also advantages you receive through our relationships in the industry. In 4 days, we scouted 15 resorts and experienced many of the services available to our clients in the Mayan Riviera.
Here are just a few highlights from the Mayakoba portion of our trip. We've included some treasures we discovered during the hunt.
This stylish eco-friendy resort is one of the most popular in our portfolio. Enjoy a delightful mix of relaxing beach and lagoon life, therapeutic spa life, and eco-adventure at Rosewood Mayakoba. Perfection! Choose from indigenously crafted suites located overwater, on the beach, or amid lush mangroves. The resort's 17,000-square-foot-spa resides on its own island complete with therapeutic plunge pools, steam grottos, saunas, a relaxation deck, and a fitness center. Guests can relax at one of three pools including a beachfront infinity pool or play a round of golf at the Greg Norman-designed El Camaleón championship golf course within the Mayakoba resort enclave. Resort amenities include butler service and concierge service. And with its renowned Rosebuds by Rosewood kids program, this resort is great for a romantic getaway or a family vacation.
A Treasure from the Hunt **
The Mayan culture revered the indigenous tree, Le Ceiba, as a symbol of strength and unity and the connection between the earthly world to the spirits above. Enjoy an evening in the garden under the La Ceiba tree at La Ceiba Garden & Kitchen as the chef prepares authentic Mayan cuisine. This experience is a part of Rosewood's Sense of Taste program, which takes guest on a culinary journey to awaken the senses and explore the traditions of the Maya. Open only three evenings a week, we will pre-arrange you a seat under the La Ceiba tree for your visit to Rosewood Mayakoba.
